Save it as a draft, or publish
A draft stays hidden from residents until you publish it. Cancel an event and it comes off their calendars.
Residents see it
Published events appear on the calendar in the tenant portal for the residents it applies to, and nobody else.
A reminder goes out
If you turned a reminder on, residents in scope get a notification ahead of the event.

Questions about community events
Can I post an event for just one building?
Yes. Scope the event to one property, and only residents there see it. Scope it to all properties for something like a holiday closure.
How do reminders work?
Turn a reminder on when you create the event and choose how far ahead. Residents in scope receive an in-app notification. Reminders are checked once a day, so they arrive that day rather than at an exact hour.
Can residents RSVP?
No. Residents see the event and its details on their calendar. There is no RSVP or attendance tracking, and recurring events are created one occurrence at a time.
Can I use it for maintenance notices?
Yes. Post a water shutoff or an inspection window as a maintenance event, and residents see it on their calendar before it happens.
Do residents see draft or cancelled events?
Drafts are hidden until you publish them, and a cancelled event no longer appears on residents' calendars.
